Austin Nature Basin

This is a great nature basin right in Austin...located off 360 (Capital of TX highway). It's got some great trails, waterfalls, wildlife, and even a pond.

The weird thing is that it feels like you're in a secluded forest but not since you can occasionally hear the roar of traffic from Loop 360. Not to mention that on the backside of the park you can see gigantic million dollar homes perched high above the world....but other than those two things I swear...it feels like nature!!

I love going though to walk and hike and explore...though like most nature places, you are not supposed to deviate from the trails, which makes sense.
